Social Security payments for birthdays on the 1st–10th are scheduled for November 10, one day early because of Veterans Day.
The November 10 payment generally covers October 2026 benefits. The usual second Wednesday, November 11, is a federal holiday, so the payment is shifted to the preceding business day. This birthday schedule generally does not apply to people who received Social Security before May 1997 or who receive both Social Security and SSI.
