Miami leads the first 2026 College Football Playoff rankings; the bracket remains a projection until Dec. 6.

The committee’s Nov. 3 top four are Miami, Georgia, Utah and Indiana. There are no previous 2026 rankings for comparison.

In NCAA.com’s current projection, No. 25 Boise State takes the 12th seed and No. 12 Ohio State is the first team out. A committee ranking is not the same as a playoff seed or a guaranteed berth.

The next rankings show is Nov. 10, 9–9:30 p.m. ET on ESPN; the final field is scheduled for Dec. 6.
