Copilot now offers Fusion model routing and JetBrains Air support, while new agent capabilities are in preview and some older models have been retired.

• Models: Copilot Fusion is generally available across all plans in VS Code, the Copilot app, CLI and JetBrains IDEs. Select it and an effort level in the model picker. Organizations control the eligible models. Each model used is billed at its rate; paid plans temporarily receive a 30% discount. Gemini 4 Argon is generally available on Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise, with gradual rollout and administrator model-policy controls. • Retirements: Six models were deprecated October 19, including GPT-5.5 and Gemini 3.7 Flash. Update workflows to supported alternatives; enterprise administrators may need to enable those models. • Agents and editors: JetBrains Air supports Copilot tasks using a Copilot subscription. Cloud tasks additionally require an Air Teams-enabled business organization and administrator enablement. Copilot app projects and computer use are public previews; computer use requires user activation and permission, and organizations can disable it. • Administration and billing: GitHub Enterprise Cloud access is available through account teams under a new usage-based arrangement; self-service is not yet available and existing subscriptions are unaffected. Under that arrangement AI usage is metered from the first request, without per-seat credits; completions and next-edit suggestions work without available budget. Existing Copilot Business and Enterprise plans remain available.
